I am a divorced mom of two amazing young women.
After my divorce, I recommitted to my full-time career, and began saving for the future.
My parents set aside $10,000 for my daughters’ future education. My parents wanted to put the money in a CD, but I suggested a mutual fund in pursuit of a higher rate of return. Six years later, when my oldest was ready to go to college, the money was gone.
I put money into my 403B. I found myself pausing contributions from time to time. Unexpected expenses and paying for college for my children took priority over saving. I even took money out of retirement one year to pay tuition. At this point, it was clear I hadn’t saved enough.
Luckily, after my children finished college, I discovered real estate investing. The first property I invested in was a commercial, mixed-use property. I renovated the building, rendering non-operable space useful again. Now, I collect income from that property every month.
I noticed a vast lack of women in the commercial real estate investing space. I know I MUST share the how-to details with other women. I want to help you gain financial freedom and peace of mind like I have.
It’s possible your financial situation is less than optimal due to - divorce or losses in the stock market. Or, what about workplace discrimination? Did you give up everything in hopes of a brighter future for your children?
Trust me, I know. I have been in your shoes. And, I can help you.
I wanted to help women like you become empowered to take control of your financial future. I imagined a safe, helpful space for women like you to learn about passive income through real estate. So, I created the Ellis Chris Investor Club.
